Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data SAIG Web Services collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights. Skylite Group Ltd (company no. 13535333, Office 64, Unit 5, 399–405 Oxford Street, London W1C 2BU) is the controller. Contact: support@skylite.group.
What we collect
- Registrant details when you buy a domain: name, organisation (optional), email, phone and postal address. Registries and ICANN require these for every registration.
- Payment information. Card payments are handled by Stripe through SAIG Pay. We receive confirmation of payment and the amount, not your card number.
- Searches and technical data. The domain names you search for, and standard technical data such as IP address and browser type in our hosting provider's logs. We do not use searches to register names for ourselves.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To register, renew and manage your domain, and to contact you about it: performance of our contract with you.
- To meet registry, ICANN, tax and accounting requirements, including keeping transaction records for six years: legal obligation.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse: our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

If you add services such as SAIG Mail, the providers for that service are listed in its own policy. We may also disclose data where the law, a court, a regulator or a domain dispute process requires it.
Public registration records
Registration data is published in WHOIS and RDAP lookups according to each registry's rules. Where the ending allows it, we ask for your personal contact details to be redacted from public records. Some registries publish certain details regardless; for example, organisation names may be shown.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
How long we keep it
We keep registrant details for as long as your domain is registered with us, and transaction records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to. Registries and registrar partners keep their own records under their policies.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. The payment page is hosted by Stripe and uses its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Some data must be kept while a domain is registered or to meet legal requirements; we will explain if that applies. Email support@skylite.group. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
